Bio

James (“Jimmy”) H. Podolny is an associate in Duncan Law Group’s Chicago office. Jimmy represents plaintiffs in consumer protection class action litigation, personal injury claims and wrongful death claims throughout the United States.

Jimmy graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University and cum laude from the Northwestern University School of Law. While in law school, Jimmy served as an extern to the Honorable Harry D. Leinenweber, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and as a law clerk at the Illinois Attorney General’s Consumer Fraud Bureau. In addition, Jimmy worked as a law clerk and summer case assistant at two well-regarded national law firms. Jimmy also worked as an ESL Writing Coach during his last two years of law school—tutoring international LLM students in English and legal writing.

Before entering law school, Jimmy worked as a freelance reporter, contributing articles to multiple Crain Communications, Inc. publications.

As a Northwestern University undergraduate, Jimmy studied journalism and integrated marketing communications at the Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications. Jimmy also served as the Public Relations Chairman and Sergeant-at-Arms of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity’s Illinois Alpha chapter.
