  • $11 million dollar settlement during trial to the widow of a 51 year old man who was rendered quadriplegic and died after the head holding device used during cervical surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital failed* (recognized within the top 20 settlements in Illinois in 2004 by Crain's Chicago Business)
  • $8.49 million dollar jury verdict (increased to over $10 million dollars after the defendant's unsuccessful appeal) to the family of a 17 year old girl who was killed in a motor vehicle incident involving Greyhound Bus Lines, Inc.

  • $4.86 million dollar jury verdict to the estate of a young woman who died two years after suffering devastating injuries when the car in which she was a passenger plummeted into an unguarded road construction pit
